Dr. Howard received his doctor of chiropractic degree from Life University / Life Chiropractic College in 1991. He is also board certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation and has a bachelor's degree in nutrition.

He has helped people from all walks of life including players on professional sports teams and Olympic athletes. He has helped touring musicians and performers in the Ringling Brothers Circus.  He has also helped low-income patients and the uninsured. Every Tuesday he travels over an hour south of his Sarasota office to serve the underprivileged. He puts in 10 hours of uncompensated service at the Southwest Florida Free Pain Clinic in Fort Myers and the Virginia B. Andes Clinic in Port Charlotte.  In addition, he has been granted sovereign immunity by the State of Florida to treat, in his Sarasota office, those from Samaritan's Hospital who qualify for 100% financial assistance. 

 

This philanthropic chiropractor has donated hundreds of hours of service. His motivation is Biblically-based. He says, "God has given me talent and opportunities. I can best serve Him by serving His children at the point of their greatest need. I look forward to the day that God says to me: "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Matthew 25:40 KJV)"" 

Children are among Dr. Howard's success stories. He started his career with an internship in chiropractic pediatrics in Boynton Beach, Florida. His fun-loving demeanor coupled with his expertise and proficiency when treating children made him an ideal candidate to become a Cranial Adjustment Tuner Style (C.A.T.S.) chiropractic practitioner. For this specialty training he traveled to Canada approximately ten years ago to learn from the esteemed Dr. Rodger Turner, the founder of the proprietary C.A.T.S. system. This accredited system has proven to be an effective treatment for children and young adults with learning disabilities, ADD, and those within the Autism Spectrum. Some of Dr. Howard's greatest joys have been seeing non-verbal children begin to speak in response to his treatments.
